O-ring, Filter Tank (p24225) is this what I have been sold before as "red stripe"? It always feels like a sloppy fit. This is for my Purex 2000 series DE stainless

Does part number: 4672-07 (O-ring) fit a Nautilus stainless steel cartridge filter? Tank diameter is 17 3/4 (inside wall to inside wall) Nautilus model- NSS-48. Please advise as soon as possible.

This O-ring does not fit the Nautilus Stainless Steel, however we do carry parts for that filter. Here you may view the Parts for Nautilus Stainless Steel Filter.

I am looking for a o-ring for a Purex CFW 405 series tank. This is a stainless steel tank and everyone wants to sell me that big thick 9/16" o-ring with a red stripe and it is too thick. Can you help in any way?

Hi. We're showing the same Tank O-ring - P24225 as being the replacement for your model filter. There is no alternate replacement. Make sure that you're lubricating and installing the o-ring correctly.

I purchased the new o-Ring which seated tighter to the tank.
My tip for anyone putting the tank cover back on aside from being liberal with grease on the ring is to have 3 points of contact to get the cover to close and seal. I used two channel locks and a c-clamp which made it much easier to close
